I’m at odds for which of these to choose for my final project. The assignment was to combine a given natural object (I got a seashell) with a chosen man-made object (I chose a needle, because I’m dumb). I was going off of the idea that seashells are used for protection.
The big thing is, the final project has to be carved from wood (which is why choosing a needle makes me dumb), and my professor wants it to be a single piece. He doesn’t want me to do it in several parts and then combine them.
I’m really between the top two concepts because the 3rd is probably impossible to do out of wood. I don’t know, I like the top one because it’s pretty, but then I like the second one because it’s not pretty XD
The first one was the most popular in my class, but idk opinions would be nice I guess lol. I’m just literally up in the air about it, I have no idea which one I’m going to choose XD I’ve come to terms with the fact that whichever one I choose is going to have to be simplified for me to be able to carve it out of wood, especially since I’ve never worked with wood before, and I’m probably going to end up losing a finger or something else stupid.
